No evocative shots from the big city. I did see a fox on a bit of waste ground near Northumberland Park stood at the side of the tracks watching the train go by, but even if I'd had the camera in my hand I doubt I could have caught it.
Smell of woodsmoke in the air tonight, the neighbour has been clearing scrub again.
He has this wet meadow next door and spends ages running around on his vintage tractors towing mowing machines. He wants to build a tractor shed so is clearing some of the brush and small trees to make space. Think he's a townie, the land would be a better wildlife spot if he didn't mow it so much....
