IT USED TO BE THE ROXY WITH A BLACK TAXI

It looks just llike any other bed shop.It used to be when I was young called the roxy picture house .Over the years its been a bingo palace and layed empty for years in gorgie road.[eh11]
The most interesting thing is that john lennon used to go here with his cousin
to the pictures[or sometimes called then the flicks]When he was about twelve years old.HE was put on the bus
from liverpool to edinburgh by his aunty and met of the bus at st andrews square
bus staion.His couison stayed a place called currie[It used to be a village on its own] on the edge of the city.
He olso stayed one night with him when he played at the a b c lothain road cinema
in centre of town in the beatle days.The building was extended on the right hand side.It was almost knocked down when it was getting turned into flats.
The taxi is unusal as its black, nowadays thy are coverd in adverts
