Summerlee Heritage Museum

As part of a very interesting Mining exhibition, Summerlee has this bronze bust created as a memorial to the 47 miners who died in the 1959 Auchengeich Mine Disaster.

If you haven't visited Summerlee, it's well worth it; great for a family outing, including play parks and tram ride. Also great if you're a liberated retiree able to swan about in interesting places when they're quiet.
