To Crieff Hydro for 'coffee and a scone', which, due to the size of the scone and the mug of coffee, turns out to be lunch!

The Hydro is a favourite place for us: in past years, a place for a family break or an escape from the pressures of work. I always felt that while there were voile curtains in the Winter Garden, the world couldn't go far wrong.

It's a while since we've visited and there have been some attractive changes ... but the voiles are still there; and the atmosphere. Lots of photos, but I really liked this one best; the atrium stairs at the Brasserie.

Must go back soon; the resort is looking good and as a member of staff said, it still has its ethos.
