A very lovely day with a yucky ending!

The day started out very nicely with watching the final of 'A Farmers Life For Me' on iPlayer whilst eating chocolate twists and drinking tea!

Then it was off to The Spur in Slindon with Ians Dad and Lesley, I had found a great walk to do in the area so we decided that as the weather was looking pretty good we would give it go! 6.5 miles later (and a couple of rather steep bits) and we reached the end - its a lovely walk - this photo is the start of the section of the Roman Road into Chichester called Staines Street. Managed to get some lovely photos but settled on this one as it sums up the walk in the beautiful sunshine.

Went to pick up the children this evening and was given some rather grotty news which I am now going to have to deal with! Hey ho - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - ha ha ha!
