Working it out
Ellen finds that when her nails have been cut and there's a little crusty one lodged way up her beak, she needs something to help get it out. Fortunately, it was pizza for tea so she'd be using her fingers for eating.
Went into work today so that I could concentrate and chat with the people I'm working with on the giantest tender this side of the border (at least that I'm likely to see). It's all coming together nicely, the grunt work's done and next week will be pure polishing.
I'm only due to work 3 hours on a Friday but I stayed all day apart from a wee break around lunchtime when I invaded MrSmith's lunch at Oloroso to deliver a couple of swapsy prints (and have a beer). Then we went to the Oxford for a proper pint. And then he bought me one. And then we had one for the road. And around 4pm I went back to the office. He's a bad influence that man. It's weird to be a bit drunk in an office of sober people although made easier when you're officially on your own time.
Anyway, Mandy and the weans drove in and we went to Pizza Express for tea and Ellen shoved a fork up her nose and I thought that would make a good photo.
She didn't really stick it up her nose.
