Not a Hockney
Rebecca and I spent an very enjoyable day in York. We went mainly to see the David Hockney at the Art Gallery. As you can see from the link, it is very impressive. It combines grandeur, beauty and technical brilliance. I would have loved to have been able to Blip people standing in front of it, but a very stern lady was watching everyone closely, rigorously enforcing the "NO PHOTOGRAPHY" sign on the door.
After the Gallery we did all the touristy things. We walked miles and ended up with what we call "Paris feet", but loved every moment. The Blip is of the sort of view you seem to get over every bridge in York; a great mixture of old and new, natural and man-made.
