Fourth warm, bright day in a row!

Whilst recycling various cardboard boxes into the green bin, I noticed this Small Tortoiseshell on the Pieris bush outside our kitchen. It obligingly stayed in place whilst I ran for my camera and then posed for me, proboscis extended. There is a different view HERE
