Alpine organisms

I love moss!! It amazes me every time! It is so diverse and it can survive almost anywhere! How it can survive in a place so cold and hostile amazes me but it just makes it all the more beautiful up there and I just can't get enough of the beautiful colours of both the hardy alpine moss and the beautiful soft fairy-tale Fiordland moss that is down the bottom of the valley (I will most likely blip that one day soon.)
I have about 30 photos of different mosses and other alpine plant species from this trip and although this one doesn't show any of the great rusty red stuff, I really like it :)

I just discovered back-blipping, woo! I thought I was doomed to have no tramping blips.
