Finally

I have got my badge and have been to my first drop in and met my first Mums. My nervousness was tempered somewhat by Carys coming out of Nursery not having eaten lunch and looking rather grey. She then proceeded to become very flushed at the drop in and fell asleep when I lay her down on a bench in the next room (didn't want to put off Mums with newborns by pre-schooler with the lurgy).

When we got home her temp was 39.3 and didn't respond to calpol but she slept until 8pm when she had a bath and was still hot enough for me to ring the out of hours team who couldn't really add anything apart from ibuprofen, which finally brought the temp down.

Learnt so much from my first drop in, just need to find time to do my reflective diary before I forget it all.
