The humanist funeral for Terence was led by a local Cornish celebrant, John.
I was only slightly surprised to discover that he was a very old friend of Meles' from her touring days; John the Fish. I'd heard her talk about him many times, and what a lovely bloke he is. Saves a lot of money on ties, too!

The ceremony went as well as these things can. M sang a couple of songs, Leppy spoke a wonderful tribute to Terence, and his granddaughters shared their memories.
Tears and laughter and music and silence.
