Needs must

One of those days that started badly and too early. As surprisingly common occurrence I've been seeing and reading in a few journals today. My early was about 3.30am and involved waking suddenly from from a dream that I couldn't remember at the time and still can't. I saw 4.15 and maybe opened my eyes a few other times before getting up at 6am. It's been a bit fuzzy today.

I think just not tired enough. Went to bed early and was still awake after five mintues. That's not a good sign. I have a reputation for conking out as soon as my head hits the pillow. But work wasn't as bad as I'd thought it might be. Uncharacteristically productive in spite of the office server being flat on its back when I got in and once more during the day. We're reaching the end of words and are starting on the big numbers.
