Takes me back..

I was in my garden and spied the lanterns hanging from my neighbours trees. I'm honestly not sure how long they've been there but they take me back to the sort of things I'd see as a kid.

It's for that reason that I snapped a pic, then gave them a bit of a grungy 70's look.

By the way, does anyone else think it's funny that we invest so much money in photographic equipment, with more computing technology than they used to put a man on the moon, and then use complex processing software to make our photos look like they were taken using an old cheap throwaway camera!?

That makes me smile!
