Sunsleep

If the bedroom door is left ajar, this is one of the best views through the threshold. Leah and I slept horribly last night, on account of nightmares, bad dreams, and air conditioner racket. So, when she got home from class we took a three hour nap and awoke to this, sunshine on old brick. Still unsure about the new apartment but if we do get it, our current place, with all of its vast shortcomings, will still continue to exist as this 1930s era brick monolith that soaks up sunrays better than any new construction. And while this trait is bad for the temperature in here it does make for a soothingly, old-worldly canvas to awake to from the necessary nap.
