Tower Reflected--Paris
Another gray day in Paris. This is the facade of Italie 2, the huge commercial center facing the Place d'Italie in Paris 13e.
The elevator tower is capped by the huge sculpture which looks to be constructed from a giant erector set. (Going at least by my childhood memories.) The facade is glass, hence the reflection. There is a large interior area which I blipped almost exactly a year ago, on the second level.
The red-clad fellow in the foreground was there by chance, smoking a cigarette for my entire set of three times three exposures (3 verticals, photomerged in Photoshop CS 5). None of the stores in the center are open on Sunday, hence the rather small number of people in the shot.
A year ago I did a double blip of a much more photogenic Paris tower: the Tour St. Jacques.
