I have a rocking chair..

...in my kitchen and decided to make a cushion for it. I used a remnant of fabric left over from some curtains belonging to one of my sons but decided that it was a bit boring!
I embroidered the poppies and wheat to remind me of the summer on days when it is cold and gloomy and I am sitting by the Aga to keep warm!!
