A magical day!

Today we finally had my wee mans party, which had to be postponed due to a certain earthquake...

It was sooo awesome to see the kids having so much fun and forgetting about everything for a day. The adults didn't seem to mind too much either.

As well as having the usual bouncy castle, and good friends and family around, this year we had a visit from an amazing entertainer! He did a captivating show for the kids, and kept them attentive for 45 minutes. He even threw in a few adult jokes to keep us entertained.

I haven't seen my son so happy in a very very long time, seeing him so incredibly ecstatic today actually brought a tear to my eye.

Here is a photo of my son, with the Way cool book of magic that Shad, the entertainer gave him for being the special birthday boy wearing his special balloon hat! He also got a motor bike made of balloons! If you are in Chrisatchurch and need a bit of light relief, I highly recommend Shad :-)

I am now completely and utterly POOPED! What a long day.
