Lost and Found
I thought this book was lost in the move but i started my holidays today got up early and searched the last unpacked boxes. Found. Its just a notebook I've scribbled down poems i've read, heard or loved over the years but it means a lot to me. Happy days.
Spent the rest of the day sorting the 'corner of doom', visited by 2 good friends who bought cake and snuggled under the duvet reading. And relax...Ah.
Give me your eyes.
I do not ask to touch
The hands of you, the mouth of you,
Soft and sweet and fragrant though they be.
No, lift your eyes to mine;
Give me but one last look
Ere I step forth forever;
E'en though within that moment's crashing space
I shall know all of life and death and heaven and hell.
