Belhaven Bairn Biking

Katie charging the gulls, Belhaven Bay. After a rainy start we ended up down the beach in the late afternoon. Katie took her bike and with a bit of a push she was off across the sand. This flock of black-headed gulls gathered at the water edge was taking no chances as the noisy little monster roared up!

Smiley pancakes for breakfast, then Malcolm was off at his pal's house most of the day, and we had Frazer around. Lego Rock Band broke out and filled most of the afternoon. Meanwhile I finally got round to fitting gear cables to the new bike. Proper Deore thumbshifters! They haven't made those for about 20 years but I love mine still so great to have them fitted again.

Then off to the beach, which was very peaceful until the bairn on the bike arrived...

Today's music was the new soundtrack from the Chemical Brothers for the forthcoming film "Hanna". I don't know how long it's going to be available, I was listening to a "24 hours only" MySpace stream of the album. Best thing they've done for years!
