Sunshine on a grey day

I have had a busy birthday today and didn't get around to photos till it was dusk.

I took a photo of the fantastic cake (on facebook) Carol made me but I thought posting that was a bit self indulgent. Eating it was anyway !.

A backup blip I have had for a few days is the clusters of Daffodils on the drive so I went out and got this shot. It was a bit dark and grey so I tried to keep the background neutral and make the flowers pop out.
