Siskin

Very cold today and snow on the hills so kept our walks to the shore and the river. By mid day we had very heavy showers so stayed indoors.

The siskins finally got their "come uppance" at the feeder station as the chaffinches obviously had enough of their aggression and chased them. This wee fellow had clearly learned his lesson and waited patiently on one of the perches for his chance to get at the nuts. Wonders will neaver cease!
Definitely chuffed with this shot.
