Another very windy March day today in which this Rook came soaring past me and landed on our roof.

March is the month of the Rook in my opinion and our local population are busy rebuilding their nests at the rookery up at the local park about a mile from here. In the winter their flightpath to the roost site goes right over our house and hundreds of them (along with their smaller relative the Jackdaw) travel overhead. It's an awesome sight!
