Roseberry Topping
What a beautiful day, very cold but wall to wall sunshine. However - spent the morning soup making as the last of the leeks and parsnips were brought in from the garden. Will be very useful when we take our s/c walking trip to The Lakes soon. This afternoon I had a check up at the dentist. I have been going to the same practice in Guisborough for decades. So long in fact that 'Young Mr W' is almost retirement age but he's good and worth the 40 odd mile round trip. The sun shone brilliantly on the Cleveland Hills and this particular one is a favourite landmark. It is only a little over 1000ft. and always made for a good walk in any season. A local and professonal photographer, Joe Cornish, in spite of taking amazing photos from around the world, continues to take pictures of Roseberry which is possibly his favourite 'model'. I can't match his standard but couldn't resist pulling into a farm track to take this on the way home.
