Cancelled flights, boredom, airport nonsense

I don't think I can top Stealth Badger's description of events so probably best you read the full saga on her journal entry.

Today's pic is a keyring I bought in London and took pics of for some amusement during the 4 hour delay to our flight.

I back-blipping this and nearly 24 hours later I'm still dehydrated and shattered, and as a result I'm really resenting British Airways for pretty much ruining two days of my life. I found out from my mum who works at Glasgow airport that, although there were strong winds in the Glasgow area, flights were still taking off and landing and it was nowhere near bad enough to justify the disruption we experienced. I think BA just decided to condense a few half empty flights and use the weather as an excuse. Fine if they can organise it to run smoothly and compensate people adequately, but in this case nothing could be further from the truth. I feel a strongly worded letter coming on!
