Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Synopsis of the day:

*After drop off and pick ups at 12:30 was violin lessons from 12:30-1:30. Had forgotten tuition was due last week. Oops!

*Landon's Eye Appt. @ 2:00 pm at Kaiser - He got tested for colorblindness today and TESTED POSITIVE, STRONGLY POSITIVE for this. :( Now two of my three boys have this issue. I always try to look at the positive side of things and realize alot of dangerous jobs are now ruled out from such a condition as this. Unfortunately it makes things a bit interesting in school---everything from color recognition to sorting objects in math, etc. ---- but this is why I wanted to know early in his school career.

*Landon, Liam and Loren's dentist appointment @ 4:00 pm. All boys end with clean mouths and NO cavities. Hooray! I'm also excited because if Loren ends up not needing braces, we made the decision today that we will be putting thin veneers on his teeth. He's just as excited about this because, due to his condition known as fluorosis, he will never be able to have white teeth without this procedure. Change is in the air!

*Loren's baseball practice @ 4:30 pm.

*Liam's batting practice at the batting cages @ 5:15 pm.

*Landon gets entertained by a mom (not this mom) buying him and her son candy and snacks in the snack shop while Liam bats. I guess being dragged around isn't so bad. Win, win for him --- playing with younger teammates siblings PLUS ingesting large amounts of sugary treats (ironically after a dentist appointment). He spend a great deal of this time trying to make people laugh, as usual.

*Picked up Ono Hawaiian BBQ on the way home @ 7:00 pm after having to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a PRE-ORDER.

*Finished up the night with this yummy meal and a much-anticipated episode of Survivor with the family.

WHEW...........WHAT A DAY!!!

TODAY IS DR. SEUSS' BD...SO NATURALLY I HAD TO CELEBRATE WITH A BLIP PHOTO OF LIAM WITH THE HAT HE MADE IN HIS HONOR. HE HAD TO MAKE UP SILLY WORDS LIKE DR. SEUSS DOES IN HIS BOOK, AND THEY ARE DISPLAYED ON HIS HAT. MY FAVORITE DR. SEUSS BOOK IS 'HORTON HEARS A WHO' BECAUSE "A PERSON'S A PERSON, NO MATTER HOW SMALL." WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE DR. SUESS BOOK?
