Happy Birthday Dad!
Synopsis of the day:
*Dropped Liam and Loren off for school and headed to Roseville for Landon's Kaiser appointment. Was worried I would get lost, but had no troubles finding it. My Facebook post from today was: "?Tonya's son Loren's sense of humor is growing. He knows his "directionally challenged" mom has to drive to Roseville today for Landon's doctor appointment and he says "If you end up in Lake Tahoe, can you bring me a souvenir?". Little does he know the jokes on HIM, he inherited his mom's sense of direction." Success!
*Appointment went well and things look fine. Poor Landon is at the age of embarrassment with visits such as these. Pediatric urologist won't need to see Landon until he's a teenager or unless problems arise. Success!
*Decided to pick up groceries while out of town for my dad's favorite birthday 'cake' --- banana pudding. Found a grocery store. Success!
*Became a bit grumpy after Landon asked for everything in the store. Fail!
*Decided to meet up with my friend Ethel who moved to Roseville a couple of years ago. Found her beautiful new house just fine and had a quick but nice 1-hour visit before needing to head home to pick up the boys from school. Success!
*Picked up the boys and quickly made the banana pudding, helped with homework and then headed to IHOP to celebrate dad's/Papa's birthday with breakfast for dinner. Success!
*New camera Lesson #1 learned: Never forget to change your lens to a smaller lens when going to a restaurant or else you'll have to endure strange looks from people who wonder why you have to stand halfway across the restaurant to fit all of your subjects in the camera lens. Fail!
I LOVE THIS BLIP PHOTO AS LIAM IS PUCKERING UP HIS LIPS AND PRETENDING TO BLOW OUT PAPA'S CANDLES WITH HIM. THIS IS VERY SIMILAR TO LAST YEAR'S MARCH 1ST BLIP SEEN HERE..
