Success

I have had a lovely day so far, starting with an excellent morning walk in the frosty sunshine. That set me up to do a little baking which I normally avoid as I am never happy with the results. I have a friend coming this afternoon and had some strong cheese to use up so had a go at some cheese scones.

Here they are! I am delighted, they are evenly risen and taste good (had one for lunch) so I can now happily offer one to my friend.

The sun is shining and after a coffee and scone we may go for a walk - what a splendid day!
