One of the most gimmicky features on the Mini is a "top down meter." It keeps a running clock of how long you drive around with the top down. If you put the top up again, it blacks out.

As far as I can tell, it just resets after 7 hours. Kitschy encouragement to drive around with the top down, which is fun.

The good news is that today, the top down meter was active. This weekend has been gorgeous in the Seattle area with sun breaks and a definite sense that spring is in the air. Hopefully this is a sign of good weather to come for the 2011 Tulip Ride on April 10th.
