Twice.

Helped my mum choose a new telly yesterday - all singing, all dancing and very slimline. Today we had the task of removing the old one to be picked up by the cooncil. It weighed at least 10 stone, contained who-knows-what in its bulky frame and demanded a strapping brother-in-law and a melodramatic 'I'm having a heart attack' sister to carry it outside.

I'm sure at the time of purchase it was state of the art - today it was a hideously heavy monstrosity which is going to keep three people undergoing back treatment for at least the next few months.

The squintiness of this photo was not deliberate but it was all I could muster given the agony I was in from overdoing the lifting from the tv stand to the floor.
