Ripples

Brrrr - what a chilly morning it was watching my son play footy! I had my thermal vest on and about three other layers but my back was freezing! Anyway, the good news is that they both won - my youngest's team won 11-0 and my middle son's team 7-2, so all in all a good day.

This afternoon we watched - yes you guessed it - more football - the Liverpool match, but I didn't mind as I'm a closet red dating back to the Kevin Keegan days (ooh that perm!). After the match I went on a photo-walk with my middle son just as the sun was setting. I wanted to go to a local pool but the path was far too muddy for my son's trainers so we just went across a local field and discovered this little pool. I experimented with lots of different shots and my son willingly threw mud and stones into the pool as I was hoping to catch the moment of impact and the plop of water. As you can see, we didn't quite manage that, but I do like these ripples so this is the chosen shot.

Monday again tomorrow - can't believe how fast the weekend has gone. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
