Black and White Day

This actually was shot in living color, but the day turned very dreary late this afternoon, and the rain is covering my dining room window. This is a dogwood tree that you see, but it isn't the usual kind that you see in the spring. My husband accidentally brought home a different kind. It is growing tall but it does have pink blooms. I am trying to decide if it is still alive as the fall leaves never all fell off of it, and it has a weird dead look to it. Even though this tree has been doing it's job by giving us a bit of privacy, I probably won't be too upset if it's dead as it hasn't been my favorite tree. It looks a bit strange most of the summer.
