Notre Dame and Sun

For me, the most romantic views of Notre Dame cathedral are from the rear--from the Ile Saint Louis (as here) or the Pont de la Tournelle. A more distant perspective is here.

We enjoyed sun all day today--the haze from yesterday's sunset had mostly faded, and in the afternoon the right bank of the Seine was ideal for basking. This is a good spot for gulls and pigeons--both expert scavengers.
