Mangos

This morning was the soccer tournament and I was relieved that we were hosting it locally this time. Since I'm flying solo this weekend, I was glad not to have to travel. Our first game was against Calaveras, and unfortunately, the Thunderstorm lost 1-2. We had 3 of our boys not feeling well. I think they would have been less upset with the loss had it been a really good team we were playing against. But they felt they weren't up to par and that we lost to a team we could have beat. The second game didn't end up being until 4:15PM against Galt, so we had to drive home and return later. We won that game 2-0.

After the games, I took the boys to Del Taco for dinner and some playland time. Once Liam and Landon got their energy out, we headed to Redbox to rent 'The Secretariat'. I was tired after a long day and dozed a bit during the movie...but as soon as I went to bed after tucking the boys in I had insomnia. Go figure!

THIS BLIP PHOTO i CHOSE IS OF LANDON AND LIAM WITH THEIR MANGOS. THESE MANGOS-ON-A-STICK HAVE BECOME THEIR FAVORITE SOCCER AND BASEBALL SNACK FROM THE CART VENDORS. PERHAPS THAT HELPS MAKE DRAGGING THEM TO BROTHER'S EVENTS MORE WORTH IT FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVE. :D
