Walk 7 Goit stock Woods

It's two weeks since we did our last Local Walks booklet walk. Today we did the final one - we did 7 and 8 out of sequence because of the very wet conditions - and walked through Goit Stock along Harden Beck to the waterfall and back on the path on the upper side of the beck.
I lived at one end of this walk as a child so it is very familiar ground to me but always enjoyable.

As it was the last in the book we had a treat of tea and cake at The Potting Shed (a favourite ofWendles 56) in the village. In all the 8 walks have covered about 30 miles.
