Call of the wild

Dull and cold start for our early morning walk but there were Geese at Coppice Pond (here) as I prepared to shoot them standing at the edge of the pond (not literally) my camera informed me my memory card was locked and the dog with us chased them away!

Mid morning and the sun came out so I went back for another try. Lots of Geese but all in the water. These were chasing others away with a great honking and stretching of necks - great.

I have just been to a service for the Women's World Day of Prayer with the focus on the Women of Chile, a place my daughter has just visited, so it was interesting. Sadly I think I was the youngest there!
