Still learning.

Anyone would be forgiven for thinking that the Poinsettia is my favourite plant. It isn't! In fact I didn't even know what they were called until I started photographing them. I photograph this one because it is the only colourful plant in the house.

I have also discovered that they are definitely not poisonous to humans although they taste bad and can cause vomiting etc. probably due to the taste!

I haven't tried eating them! I was just looking up the spelling and came across a load of articles about the myth of them being poisonous.

This is my second crack at using grunge textures from Skeletalmess and it is a lot of fun. I did start collecting textures - stone surfaces etc and must organise my catalogue and start using them. All this flower inspiration comes from Leo's offerings who creates some fantastic images.

I can see a lot of potential here.
