Start Your Engines

It's all about to begin. Finally.

This is a shot of what will be a customer appreciation race, I believe. Not 100% sure, but the photography team I'm working with was stationed at the track the day before the first major event of the season and we saw this. So I grabbed it. It's exciting to me, seeing this kind of set up. Fun times ahead!

I'm trying to remind myself that what matters is this moment, not the future. I'm always looking ahead, always jumping to the next task, next fun thing. It can really kill the joy of what is happening right before me.

I'm learning. :)

3) Pen and recorder in my hand
4) Lunch at the museum with Snake, Force, Hagan, Del
5) Seeing my best friend in the staging lanes after a long off season. That right there? That makes the world seem pretty darn shiny.
