A Face Only A Mother Could Love!

It's been very hot today. So early this morning I went down to a rather nice garden centre at a place called Hope Island. this interesting little face was on the wall at the entrance to the garden centre.

It's a really nice place, you could wander around for hours, poking around looking at all the plants and ornaments, and they have a really nice cafe there. Well, it's called a cafe, but it looks more like a restaurant. It has nice crisp white tablecloths, most of it's open plan, and there were lots of running water features. But I was on my own, so when I go back again I'll make sure I have someone with me, so I can go into this nice cafe.

This is where I miss my Mum and Christian, they both used to love to do that sort of thing.

Anyway, after wandering around another couple of shops, I returned home to the ironing. But it was too hot to iron (I love that excuse), so after doing the essentials ( my work uniform) I decided that I would spend the rest of the day watching a dvd, and finishing off my panda bear that I'm making. So that's what I did, better than ironing anyway.

It was almost too hot to cook as well, but I did make quiche and salad for dinner. But then I got lazy and didn't post my blip, which is why it has just been backblipped.
