Wayne's stiff shoulder

Another excellent powder day, apart from 'Wayne's Shoulder' which was stiffened horribly by the wind, and is an indication of how much and quickly the snow can be transformed by the elements.

As the clouds are clearing the hot spring sun is also making its presence felt, and at lunchtime the town was soggy with melt water.

In combination the wind and sun can completely transform powder into un-skiable crust and sludge, so here's hoping we will have a few more days of good skiing with this new snow.
