Taj Mahal

An early morning visit to Taj Mahal was a good decision. It gave us sufficient amount of time to visit Itimad Daulah's tomb and Fatehpur Sikri.
On entering the gate of Taj Mahal, I could feel the mystical mahal reduced in proximity, coming closer, which was being seen from a distance till yesterday. It definitely held an aura of pride, and the morning mist only added to its beauty. I could stay there and keep looking at it. I don't remember seeing Taj Mahal as this, when I went there as a kid.
On our way back, we wanted to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which did turn out to be a bit far from what we thought, but we still made it. Some of the village roads leading up to it were neat. The guide who took us around Fatehpur Sikiri gave some knowledge on its existence. The place was huge in terms of both space and tranquility, like a free place for everyone, where one could just be and relax. And that was apparent from the people of that place.
Finally, returned through some beautiful scenic views of the village, which was clean and almost free all through. A short and a fulfilling trip in the end.
