I am a wife and mother of 4 who loves to take photos. Since getting a lovely new Nikon DSLR for Christmas in 2013, I decided to attempt to get to know how to use it properly by blipping a photo a day (or thereabouts - I'm not going to make that commitment as I know I'm only setting myself up to 'fail'). Any tips welcomed!

It's fair to say most of my photos are (and will likely continue to be) of my children. At the time of writing the Boy is 3 and the Girl, 1 and they are my world. I hope that in capturing these snapshots of our daily life, I will be able to look back when I'm old and grey and remember the details all too soon forgotten and that the children will be reminded of just how loved they are.

Baby Callie joined the family in April 2015. Kitty joined us in November 2017. My gang keep me busy and I increasingly end up snapping moments on my phone rather than reaching for ‘the big camera) but better that than nothing!
