hi everyone,

i love the art of photography. i am 52 years young and still learn something new every time i pick up a camera. when i create a 'wow' image, i still can't believe it's me who is the image maker.

i ran my own portrait business with my daughter in law but recently moved and am working to kickstart it in Michigan. (check her blip account out at PBJ)

i am blessed to have a great husband, four boys and 3 grandkids. life is just keeps getting fuller and fuller.

my grandson is so interested in photography it's uncanny. he is 4 and has an unbridled eye for what to take photos of. (check out his posts via his mom at awesomesaucekid)

blip gives me the outlet for personal work and the push to shoot daily. my photo skills get rusty when i don't shoot and winter adds to the lack of motivation.

started here way back when in 2009 and now energized to start again.

how lucky are we to document our lives like this?! at times i think of what legacies we leave and this is a good one!!
