I am a Glasgow based architect with an interest in photography and a Tibetan terrier called Tashi!

I started taking photos in the last century when I was about 5 years old using a Kodak Instamatic, graduating to a Canon AE 1 in 1979 and have now advanced to a Canon EOS 6D.

A friend introduced me to blipfoto in July 2014 and I find the idea interesting. Some of my uploads are iPhone snaps (which I condsider to be the point of this site) and some are photos I have worked on in an 'electronic darkroom', but they are all "my own work" and hopefully they give an interesting view point.

The discipline of trying to find a good/great photograph every day is certainly a challenge.

Decided not to get my Canon EOS 6D repaired and put the cost of the repair towards a Canon EOS 5D which I am putting through its paces now!
