I have had a passion for photography ever since my mum gave me her old SLR camera when I was about 11 years old, I replaced it with a Yashica with the money from my first job when I was 16 and have taken photos ever since. Thankfully digitally now, so gone are the days when I had to save my pocket money to have my pics developed, had to wait a week in anticipation!
Blipfoto is a wonderful community and I love sharing my thoughts and snapshots of my life. It has taught me so much, looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary and getting inspired by others. Those who manage to take pictures every day for years are a real inspiration. Although I have the occasional lapse when life gets busy I intend to carry on and enjoy glimpses of lives from people all over the world.
