Inspired by some mates I decided to join the world of blip. I've been a photography enthusiast for many years now, but only recently switched to a DSLR camera. There's no excuse; I should be taking heaps of photos, experiment and learn... and blip seems like the perfect venue to help me do this.

You can help me as well by giving me some solid constructive criticism. Sure it's nice to hear I'm doing something right, but there's plenty of room for improvement and I'm keen to hear what you think.
Just so you know; if I reply, I tend to do that as a comment on my own photo - that way the 'conversation' is kept together in one place and I can check back later, rather than my reply sitting somewhere else in the system.
