My parents tell me that I always loved snapping photos on holiday. When I was at comprehensive school, I often had a camera in my bag to take shots of friends and school life. I remember the excitement of waiting for the photos to be processed at the chemist, felt like an eternity waiting to pick them up.
It's only in the last few years I've had an SLR and I love shooting people and landscape. I have an eye for composition I think, but still very much lacking in the technical knowledge. I don't invest enough time in my photography, so I'm hoping joining Blipfoto will motivate me!
