Keen amateur photographer since 1973. Started out with a Nikkormat SLR film camera. Used to process and print B&W pictures myself until 1998. With the gradual demise of film I lost my interest in photography. Not in the least because digital SLRs were bulky and too much automated. In 2007 I bought an Epson RD1 digital rangefinder camera (APS-C sensor, manual or aperture-priority exposure, Leica M-mount bajonet) and a modest range of excellent Voigtlander prime lenses. My interest in (digital) photography was rekindled. In 2013 I could not resist a good offer of an used Leica M9 (full frame rangefinder) that returns even better images when used with my Voigtlander lenses. Initially used Epson Photo-Raw and iPhoto (Mac) to process my photos, since 2014 I use Adobe LightRoom-5.
