A Welshman in exile in Essex for the last 20+ years, I started using my camera seriously when I wrote a travel article for a magazine and struggled to supply photos. I did a number of courses to get me off auto, did a City & Guilds in Studio photography and even had the lease to a studio in my hands before I went back into IT. Then, about 4 years ago, I discovered birding and bird photography. This has become my passion and I now travel the country and the world looking for birds and wildlife to shoot. I've been lucky enough to get 6 or 7 magazine publications in the last year. However.... I now shoot birds almost to exclusion, so I'm going to try Blipfoto to get my mojo back on the rest of my lenses. Kit: Canon 5D Mark iii. Canon 7D.
