Hi there, how are you? Feel like I need to ask how your day is going as it feels like a community on here and maybe nobody has asked you today!

I am 38years old (Aaahhh!! where does the time go) and I am married with 2 cats (not children I am afraid - not a possibility unfortunately).

I am a Deputy Headteacher living and working in a small town called Gosport in Hampshire and I am lucky enough to be living by the coast - which only until recently I am beginning to appreciate. I am currently studying for an MA in Education so life is pretty hectic and busy. With being so focused on work I have always had an excuse to not find a hobby.

Photography is something I was surrounded by as a child as my dad loved to take photos of anything and everything. When he passed away it was something that I slowly but surely became more and more interested in. My husband has also been bitten by the bug and you can find him on here also.

After attending an amazing photographic holiday with John Gravett in the Lake District it has made me look at the world in a whole new light and Blipfoto has given me a new challenge (completely unrelated to work) and a fresh perspective.

I also love to read books and the escapism it gives you when you are transported off to a whole new world.

I also have two cats called George and Maisie who I love dearly and who never fail to make me smile.
