3600+ blips and still going strong! I'm less addicted to Blip extras than I was when I began and sometimes neglectful of those I follow. My aim is to visit several blip friends I have made when I fully retire, strange how you can develop such an affinity with people you have never met. It also proves that we have much in common no matter where we hail from!
Blip has opened my eyes to some simple, wonderful things. Out on a country lane, someone asked me what I meant when I said it had 'made me see things.' I pointed out to her: the light coming through the trees; the bird on a limb; the shapes in the sky; the line of the furrows in the field; the colours in the undergrowth; the symmetry of the children's clothing in front of us..........
On a sombre note I'm a new Granny and hoping the World Euan is growing in to will sort itself out sooner rather than later....
31st December 2024 and 15 years of Blipping clocked up. The most significant event in previous years has been the arrival of our wonderful grandson Euan who figures as often as possible in my journal. I'm less concerned with finding the 'perfect' Blip these days (well that was never going to happen!) but I love this place and will keep on going.
